Brigit Anderson

Brigit is originally from New England and moved to Snoqualmie Pass in 2012 to be closer to the mountains. When she is not instructing for BCAG, Brigit is the Education Coordinator for NWAC since 2017; responsible for the Avalanche Awareness program highlight her passion for engaging youth in avalanche education. Brigit is currently working towards a master’s degree in Sustainable Mountain Development from the Center for Mountain Studies in Perth, Scotland and a GIS Certificate from the University of Washington. When she isn’t working, you can find her skiing around Snoqualmie Pass in the winter, climbing or fly fishing when it’s a little less snowy. Brigit’s professional certifications include: AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and Leave No Trace Trainer.
