At the end of the road the journey begins, explore the true coast range of the lower 48 and step up your back country skills to the 45+ degree couloirs of the Olympics. Just beyond the Hurricane Ridge ski area, park yourself and drop into multiple North facing 1,000-3,000’couloirs.For 1-2 days to learn and practice the skills necessary to climb and ride the steep faces and couloirs safely. Multiple bowls in the high alpine, big faces, long descents through old growth with breath taking views of the Strait de Juan du Fuca, Vancouver Island, Whistler and Mt Baker define the NW back country experience.
We finish with a beach side BBQ at Dungeness Wildlife Refuge and dine on beer & brats with Gray Whales breaching along the shoreline!
